A relative newcomer to the precious metals investing scene, Mary Beth Maidment is living proof that anyone can become an investor. With humble beginnings in 2008, she became convinced that investing in precious metals was the best way to protect her savings from the ruination of traditional funds investments, and the way to protect her resources from hyper-inflation on the horizon. Now, 16 months later, she found herself not only operating a retail silver business full time, but co-owner of a gold mining operation. Once a minister’s wife, this single mother of 3 and grandmother of 5 put herself through college at 47, then graduate school at 50, and is now preparing for transition into a life revolving around the Alaskan bush.
