“We the People…Events that changed American History” is a book every family will enjoy. All the art work was created by Roland Morin who has been involved in the arts since age 10. You will notice that all the pages are in colors not normally offered in a book. The art work is well worth the cost of the book.

“Tobey the Freedom Pug”, our tour guide in the vivid colored prints, will provide continuity through the book for all ages, with the goal of encouraging children to read, understand and live their heritage through these great documents and quotations. I am sure by now that you have noticed the pink pug, who will be known from here on out as Freedom Pug.

You may be asking yourself: “why pink?” or “why a pug?” The color pink has no special significance. I simply wanted a color that would stand out and be easily remembered. The reason for the pug… my wife and I are pug lovers and currently living with three in our home. I guess you could call us “pug-aholics”. Tobey, our Freedom Pug, will guide you through this adventure. Hopefully we, as Americans, can identify with Freedom Pug throughout this book as we are reminded of our lost freedoms.
